Good Morning is my favorite Greeting

Good morning to you all. I realize you may be reading this in the evening or in the afternoon but good morning is my favorite greeting. It comes from my years as a kindergarten and pre-school teacher. Each morning I would sit at the door to my classroom and greet the children and parents with good morning. It being a fresh new day and ripe with all possibilities, optimism wins out.

I spent 21 years in the classroom and learned so much about human nature, communication and trust. Earning a parent’s trust in regards to the most important thing in their life, their child, has been a great advantage in real estate. A home purchase can either stabilize the families finances and build a secure future OR it can suck the family dry and destabilize the family. You might remember the movie “The Money Pit”. Guiding a buyer or seller through this process can be such a great experience. There are pit falls to avoid and many decisions to make. Trusting the person that is guiding you through this milestone is paramount.

An agent can either guide you to make a good decision or guide you to close the deal. Only one of these protect the client. Make sure your agent is looking out for your best interest. Trust is earned. If the person guiding you through one of the biggest decisions in your life is not looking out for your long term best interest, they are not truly working for you.

Until next time,
